Community advocates call on Governor Hochul to Sign the Wrongful Conviction Act

Advocates and lawmakers in New York are pushing governor Hochul to sign a bill that allows innocent people who’ve pleaded guilty to challenge their convictions. New York has the third highest count of wrongful convictions in the country.
